Alright! We've got a camera! This is what we'll be using to update you (visually) on what's going on... I'm really hoping that there's some reliable internet service down there... It seemed like we could access it last year... I guess we'll see!
We are leaving in exactly 5 hours!! Still some packing to do, but we should be alright... The next posting will probably be in Mexico! (I'll still write in English though!)

Chad - thanks for creating the blog! I am so glad that you did this for allowing us to not only post photos and journal entries together from our Northstar team in 1 week (June 16-22!!), but to stay connected with you and Jen all summer long! We will get to read first hand "how you are experiencing what God is doing through/to you both together during the Summer of 2007 in Monterrey, Mexico!" I look forward to spending a week together serving alongside you!

Can't wait to hear how things are going! We miss you guys already. I am so glad that our mission trip group is going to have you to lead worship - what a treat. I am excited about how God is going to use this experience to furthur his kingdom through the "Powers". Our prayers are with you.

my son Nick is going with he Northstar team and his friends Mark, Eric, Paul, and Ryan. This will be his second trip and he is ready to go. I prepped him by laying mulch and building a water fall in our yard. he is now in shape and ready for the heavy lifting. God Bless eveyone for what you do and best wishes!
