I (chad) have arrived safely in Monterrey, but Jen is still at home eating clean American food... and my stomach is already growling at me because it's sensing the Mexican onslaught...
but I'm excited to be here! I can smell the food cooking and I'm already kind of acclimated to the heat...
I thought I would be really homesick when I got back to Monterrey... I thought that being home (in America) would make me remember all the reasons I love it there... And while that is totally true, I don't feel as homesick as I thought I would be... It has been really hard to bounce back and forth, I feel like I can't really rest yet... But I'm really only homesick for people... Friends and family are the ones I miss... I can do without strip malls and I can do without being the king of my own little world, but I'm really having a hard time missing all my loved ones... So, as you go to sleep tonight, know that I'm thinking about you (ALL of you)... all in pictures flashing through my mind!
I hope you are all doing well... And I can't wait to see you again!

That might be my new favorite picture!!! It will be even better when Tonto's feet are next to yours of course, but until then I'll do my best to make sure she gets lots of lovins and I will be praying that when you are having heart pangs, the Lord will still them and fill you instead with His love and presence!
How's the saddle today? What's keeping you busy? Tonto wants to know! Looking forward to seeing more pictures and hearing stories from your week...
