But, hard work deserves a great reward!!! So I tagged along with some of the guy interns and went to Tacos Fede... Mmmm... I got the Arracherra (Grilled Steak)... This stuff is so good, you have no idea...

Thursday I got to sleep in a little because all the groups went out on outreaches while I stayed here to work on House 3... Usually John makes me get up really early to help him, but he took his wife, Corrie, out to breakfast... So we started work around 10AM... I worked on securing the doorknobs and deadbolt locks for the exterior doors... This time I had to deal with metal door jambs and metal doors! My hands were really tired by the end of the day...

This afternoon the Hall Family arrived (Rob, Kristine, Charlie, Gracie)!! I'm really excited, I've been looking forward to them coming all week... Todd took us out to Carl's Junior (I still haven't figured out the grammar on this restaurant)... Carl's Junior is like a Super Burger King... It's a fast food restaurant, but it's really, really good... And luckily, the Star Mascot from the Carl's Junior billboard was here!!

As we were sitting in Carl's Junior we saw this great rainbow right in front of the mountains... So cool...

So we loaded up in the Suburban and headed back to LDM, just in time for the Market... The Market is a really cool deal for the teams here... Instead of taking teams to the individual markets around town, a small group of people on staff go to the markets and buys stuff in bulk (so they get a much, much better price without the haggling)... So then they bring all that stuff back to LDM and mark it back up to the price that the groups would have paid without the bulk discount, and they use the profits to help support SMCA... Brilliant!
So now I'm sitting in Todd and Beth's house, chatting with Todd and Kristine (Rob has passed out on the couch)... Worship was great tonight, except really hot and humid... But it was a special night... Tomorrow the groups leave and we clean up and rest... John probably has a project cooked up for me to do though... I'm sure it will be an interesting day...

Hi Chad! I hope your stomach is holding up after the Arracheras! :) Glad to hear the Halls are there with you, hopefully that will make the days pass more quickly until Tonto arrives. I don't think that new name will ever grow old! :) Keep the updates coming, and know that we are thinking about you and praying for you and missing you back home!
