Tuesday looked like this: I worked on installing all of the door hardware for house 3... We are really close to finishing house three... We're trying to get it ready for Matt and Julie Cooper and their family to move in... We were trying to have them moved in by July 1st, but we thought it would be better to push back that date a little bit so they could have electricity, and running water, and doors with handles...

There's a lot of work going on around here... Here's a picture of some guys working on installing lights and fans in the kitchen of house 3... This picture is hilarious to me because this guy used to be an OSHA inspector... He's standing on an upside down unfastened countertop... I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think that would fly in the US... Viva la Mexico!!

Here are some pictures of the work being done on the SMCA school... If you recall, SMCA is the Sierra Madre Christian Academy... It's the school for all of the children of the missionary families... Today was an eventful day... John went over everything with the guys who were operating the heavy machinery... 10 minutes after John left they hit a water line... So John told them to dig a trench so he could run another line, but they went too far over and hit a gas line... The good news is that one of the masons working on the property is really good with galvanized steel, so we had both lines back up and running within an hour and a half... This would take days in the US... Viva la Mexico...

I took a nap this afternoon because I got up at 6AM for our small group with the staff guys... I'm not a morning person... In fact, anything that comes out of my mouth before 10AM sounds, to me, like a person who babbles on and on after having one too many adult beverages... So what better realm in which to show off my unpolished dialogue skills? A Bible Study...
So I needed a nap... After the nap I got up, took a shower, did some reading and headed to dinner... I led worship, then got to talk to Jen on the phone... I'm making some plans for our anniversary, but don't tell her, it's a surprise!!
